This is a zine put together by graphic novelist and former Lula line-cook Anders Nilsen on the occasion of his recent book release party, for the graphic novel Tongues, held at Lula in March, 2025. Nilsen was one of Lula's original cooks, working in the kitchen from May 2000 until late 2005, and co-curating the artwork for many years after that. This zine is a sort of mini-memoir of his time there, Lula's own beginnings and the early days of his career as a cartoonist, artist and author.
